ABOUT TITANS
The club’s vision is to work towards creating and offering its members a sporting life of inclusivity and respect.
A place where sports persons of all levels, abilities and ages can equally enjoy hockey and get the feeling of belonging amongst a group of amazing individuals.
Titans Hockey Club was formed in September 2019 and is based in Gibraltar. Our club’s hockey activities all take place in the famous Victoria Stadium. Its popularity comes from its location, as it was built directly next to Gibraltar’s International Airport which makes aircraft landings and take-offs very unique.
We are a club that started off with a female side and is rapidly expanding.
The majority of our founder members were teenagers (at the time) with great enthusiasm and determination of taking on new challenges and offering new opportunities and new experiences. This new venture was fully supported by a few experienced senior individuals who appreciated the girls' passion, potential and motivation.
Such action saw the revelation of strong upcoming female leaders with a huge sense of integrity, dignity, strength, and courage who together were prepared to confront adversities….….and became TITANS!
IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT HOCKEY!
We look at ways to help our community by becoming accessible and inclusive. We support local charities by donating part of the monies made through fund-raising events organised by the club through our 'GIVING BACK' scheme. Its our way of thanking the community for their support by giving some back to worthy local causes.
It is through solidarity that great life lessons of generosity are taught and learnt. At Titans HC we give great importance to the development of our members as players and educate them to become caring and reputable individuals for our community.
This year (Season 2023/2024) the selected charity is 'The EV Foundation Trust for families in need.
